The dashing 39-year-old actor is a heartthrob for the whole subcontinent. Three-time Filmfare winner, Shahid in his initial days, was known for the romantic movies he did, but with times he expanded his expertise in all the genres. Shahid initially was not directly a Bollywood actor; rather, Shahid Kapoor was a background dancer as he trained at Shiamak Davar, who realized his talent.

His first-ever break came in the year 2003 in the movie Ishq Vishk being cast opposite Amrita Rao and his mother, Neelima Azim. He won the best male debut Filmfare by doing this film due to his exceptional acting skills, which were appreciated by big critics.

He next grabbed the chance to act alongside one of the biggest stars in 2005, i.e., Sanjay Dutt in Vaah! Life Ho Toh Aisi. Then he did one of the best comedy movies alongside those who were best in comic timing – Paresh Rawal and Rajpal Yadav. This was titled Chup Chup Ke, and this worked pretty well in the box office.

2007 came to be as the year he was searching for. With movies like Fool N Final, Shikhar, and especially Jab We Met, Shahid Kapoor became an apple in the eye for the directors, and he surely gathered a lot of fan following with his excellent skills. It was a series of blockbusters after this, namely Kismat Konnection, Kaminey, and Dil Boley Hadippa. These movies did wonders for his career, and he was a prominent figure in the industry after these superhits. 

After these comic and dramatic roles in the previous ones and also in his 2010 hit Badmaash Company, Shahid was searching for some change in his acting style. It was in 2011 that he was handed a special film like Mausam, which changed the perspective of the viewers for Shahid. 

Phata Poster Nikla Hero and R. Rajkumar were not so accepted by the public and the critics. But Haider came in as a blessing in disguise, which showed Shahid the right path to move on. With acting in strong films like Udta Punjab, Rangoon. And his highest grosser ever Padmaavat, he became popular in the young age machos list. His latest performance in Kabir Singh has been appreciated by the audience worldwide; will always remain a special character for the actor as well.

Shahid Kapoor is a filmy kid being the child of great actress Neelima Azim and the amazing actor Pankaj Kapur. The actor is a graduate of the Mithibai College in Mumbai. There were some rumors about his relationship with Kareena Kapoor in the initial phase of his career during the release of Fida. But later, it was found to be hyped by the paparazzi and didn’t last for long. He married the very beautiful Mira Rajput in 2015. And became father to daughter Misha in August 2016 and son Zain in September 2018.
