Amid this COVID-19 situation, the new entrant into Bollywood had been waiting for her next projects to be completed at the earliest so that Janhvi Kapoor could explore what to do next in the future. However, one of the films titled Roohi Afzana with co-actors Rajkumar Rao and Varun Sharma has already been shot and is ready after the post-production stages.
Adding to this, the Janhvi also completed a real-life inspired movie based on the Indian Air Force Kargil War participant Gunjan Saxena. This was directed by Sharan Sharma and produced by the very own Karan Johar. The sources confirm that this was also set to release within May but couldn’t due to the ongoing conditions. After the success of her first film, Dhadak, directed by Sharan Sharma and produced by Karan Johar, the actress was on board for Karan Johar’s dream directorial project titled Takht. This was set to be a multi-starer movie with superstars like Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Kareena Kapoor Khan, and her very own uncle, the evergreen Anil Kapoor.
After the sad demise of her mother, Sridevi, who ruled the screens for quite a few years, the legacy was surely passed on to the young actress. With only her father, Boney Kapoor, being the one to guide and assist her, the Janhvi Kpoor surely promises to be a future big-screen star. Calming her nerves down in these tough times will surely help her know that Bollywood is not only about acting and cameras, but it is also about-facing tough times and getting through them with utter confidence and sheer power.
A source also confirms that there is a rumor that her future projects for a limited time may go on the OTT platform, just like some other movies of the Indian cinema.
