Sushmita Sen

Amidst this lockdown where the entire country is juggling with the possibilities of working from home, even our celebrities are no less. No, No, we are not talking about posting some random videos to show their presence every now and then. This time we are talking about some serious work happening by none other than our Miss Universe Sushmita Sen.

Sen’s Digital Debut

As the entire world is going gala after Netflix and Amazon, so are our stars. And more so, this COVID-19 lockdown situation has raised the level much higher. Sushmita Sen has always been in the limelight always. Sometimes because of making some bold statements, her camaraderie with Roman Shawl, or with her daughters, the actress is making many heads turn. After taking a long break from the movie industry, the actress is once again ready to rock the silver screen, but this time with a series called Aarya on a digital platform, Amazon Prime, helmed by Ram Madhwani.

Digital Dedication

Sen’s dedication to a project has always been commendable. This time it is more so. The shoot of the show took around three months, which was completed before lockdown, but the dubbing was still pending. Since the show is planned to release somewhere around mid-May, so all the star cast of the show, including Sushmita Sen, are doing dubbing for the show from home to meet the discussed deadlines.

In 2002, Madhwani made an interesting film with Boman Irani in the lead called Let’s Talk. The film also premiered at Locarno Film Festival but has only made Neerja as his mainstream Bollywood film. Critically acclaimed, the filmmaker has won several awards at the Cannes Lions, and people have now started looking forward to yet another masterpiece on this digital platform.
