Professional Whereabouts 

Sara Ali Khan has managed to attract fame in the industry with dignity. She was likely to make her debut through the Bollywood remake of “Fault In Our Star” with Ishaan Khattar. However, these plans did not work out. She was finally given a big ticket to the industry through a romantic piece, Kedarnath. In this Kedarnath disaster based movie, she was cast alongside Sushant Singh Rajput. 

Following this, Sara Ali Khan was offered another big movie by Rohit Shetty, Simmba. The movie was loosely based on a south Indian movie, Temper, and starred Ranveer Singh along with Sara. Both the above-mentioned movies fetched commercial success. Recently, Love Aaj Kal, a remake of her father’s movie, was released. The movie, also starring Kartik Aryan and her performance has gotten a mixed response from the audience. Sara is all set to hit the screens again, hopefully in 2020, with Varun Dhawan in Coolie No.1. The film is an adaptation of 1995 Coolie no.1 featuring Govinda. 

Reports claim that the actress is thriving with her further commitment to feature in Aanand L. Rai’s film Atrangi Re, starring Akshay Kumar and Dhanush. 

Khan was awarded Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut and IIFA award for Star Debut of the Year. She also appeared in Forbes India’s Celebrity 100 list, bagging 66th rank. Sara has been the celebrity endorser for few brands, including Fanta, Puma, and Veet.

The actress was raised in Mumbai and is a granddaughter to Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi, a former Indian cricketer and Sharmila Tagore, a famous veteran actress. She was born to Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh, who then got divorced in 2004. Her father, Saif Ali Khan, then married his girlfriend, Kareena Kapoor Khan on 16 October 2012. Sara Ali Khan has a brother, Ibrahim Ali Khan and a step-brother, Taimur Ali Khan. 

Love Life 

As far as Sara’s romantic life is concerned, the media has not been able to acquire concrete information. Based on the rumors, the actress has dated Veer Pahariya, former Union Minister, Sushil Kumar Shinde’s grandson, in 2016. The actress was then reported to be dating Anil Kapoor’s son, Harshvardhan Kapoor in 2017. Currently, Sara is seen with her latest movie co-star, Kartik Aryan, quite often, leading the media to believe that they might be in a relationship.

The actress was born on August 12, 1995,  in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. The 24-year artist follows Islam as her religion. Sara traces her roots to the Royal Pataudi family, paternally and has Sikh ancestry, on the maternal side. Khan did her schooling from Besant Montessori School, Mumbai and then completed her graduation from Columbia University, New York. The Royal granddaughter is a proud graduate in history and political science. 

LifeStyle

The Kedarnath actress is quite well-known amongst her fans for her humongous weight loss. While she weighed around 96 kgs in her teenage years, the actress has now shed to around 52 kgs. She owes this to her gym routine and an extremely strict diet. One of the reasons for the actress being overweight was PCOD (Polycystic Ovarian Disease).
