What’s Eid without a Salman Khan release? However, Eid 2020 will be a completely different affair with Salman Khan fans not being able to ring in the Holy festival with a movie of their favorite star. Owing to the Coronavirus induced lockdown in the country that has now stretched over two months, the project is far from complete with the cast and crew yet to film two songs and a few other sequences.

The songs are to be shot in foreign locales for the purpose of the essence of the movie, reports suggest. Only after the shoot is complete will the film go in for dubbing, VFX, and post-production which are time-consuming, to say the least. The team shot a few portions in Mumbai, but Salman didn’t seem too convinced with how the final product turned out. Thailand and Azerbaijan are the two locales on top of his mind for the filming of the two songs.

Will Sooryavanshi And Radhe Walk-In Gulaabo Sitaabo’s Footsteps?

Earlier this year, the release of Rohit Shetty’s “Sooryavanshi” starring Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif got postponed owing to the pandemic. Since then, a few films have been slated for an online release. Prominent names include Akshay Kumar’s Laxmi Bomb and Gulaabo Sitaabo starring Amitabh Bachhan and Ayushmann Khurana. With these projects being released on the online mediums such as Amazon Prime and Netflix, will Salman Khan’s “Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai” follow suit?

With the pandemic not ending any time soon, movie releases are set to take a big hit in the near future. Even if the pandemic is brought under control, movie halls may not be allowed to function for the foreseeable future for the purpose of avoiding large public gatherings. In this scenario, whether or not movie releases will be shifted to online mediums is something we will have to wait to know about.

The film also stars Disha Patani, Randeep Hooda, and Jackie Shroff in vital roles.
