What is this anyway, a Republican campaign site I am a native New Jersey person, independent, but I can already see that Mr. Corzine will pull this out. If you were raised here you would know that even thought our citizens offer conservative viewpoints, in the end we almost always vote democratic. This is because most of New Jersey workers are pragmatic: they can see the value of hard work and the dollar, but in the end also see the value of a progressive party literally. Native New Jersey people see Mr. Corzine as an interloper in state politics. We prefer our politicians to be well seasoned with years of service. While he was an average to better US Read the rest of this entry »

Syracuse fielded a team in baseball from 1870 through 1921, and again from 1923 to 1972, when the team was disbanded. The Orangemen appeared in the 1961 College World Series, and were eliminated by Oklahoma State. The 1961 team entered the College World Series in Omaha with a 16-3 record. In their first game they defeated Northern Colorado 12-5, but were defeated in their next game 12-9 by Oklahoma State. They then defeated Western Michigan 6-0, before being eliminated by eventual tournament runner-up Oklahoma State 8-0. cuyahoga county election results

Last year, O’Grady finished 3rd overall in his bid for Congress. In North Olmsted, hed finished 3rd in all precints except one where he finished 2nd. He was quoted as saying “the good people of North Olmsted don’t want me to leave”. What is he going to say now I hope this clown did not really expect to get re-elected after this past year. He takes a pay raise while laying off police and firemen. A few years ago, he created a position in the city for a city planner. Why not eliminate that position, a position that the city did not need prior to his appointment The city is at it’s worse in my 35 years Read the rest of this entry »

new york congressional race

Many of you have followed the story of Bill Owens and Doug Hoffman, who are the nominees for the special Congressional election in NY District 23. What makes this especially interesting for Conservatives is that the original Republican nominee was Dede Scozzafava, who was no Republican at all really. She was actually farther left then the Democrat candidate. However, thanks to insider politics and having friends in high places, Scozzafava got the nomination over Doug Hoffman, who was the real conservative. So, Hoffman ran on the Conservative party. Even after the GOP spent a reported 900,000 to support Scozzafava the liberal Republican, Hoffman still Read the rest of this entry »
